After having worked in education and mental health for 20 yrs he decided to start Renard Blended Whiskey as his legacy. After turning 40, Renard wanted to challenge himself in a different way by starting his own whiskey company because it had always been a passion of his. After all, his parents always encouraged him not to box himself in and to follow his dreams. As a world traveler having visited over 50 countries, he's tasted plenty of spirits, which has helped him form the unique taste of Renard Blended Whiskey. Renard resides in Chicago, IL with a lovely wife and child. He's consistently working hard to bring the best-tasting whiskey to the table and building his company from the ground up to leave a legacy behind for his family.
