I visited Peru; a South American country located in the Andy’s Mountains. After hiking through the mountains, I had no idea that there was locally produced whiskey being manufactured in the area, but it had a unique twist to it using black maize, which is usual in that region. 
The country of Peru help inspire my whiskey evolution with their Deep Canyons, Amazon River and Rainbow mountains, I wanted to create a brand that was made up of a flavor is as smooth and peaceful as Peru. The great people of Peru have a common trait to avoid
confrontation at all times. Renard Whiskey is smooth, easy and relaxed. The local whiskey there appeared to be a great way to sit back and admire the beauty around me.

During my travels in Ireland, I stopped at the country's oldest pub, where I was served whiskey older than the United States of America. Nevertheless, whiskey lovers can agree that drinking here is a rite of passage., so naturally whiskey tasting was on my to do list when I visited. I discovered a lot of things that haven't made it international. It's not mass produced, it's not mainstream, but it's incredible., and that's what excites me. This is another country that is a rite of passage for whiskey tasting. I participated in the Scotch Whiskey Trail; I have been explored the different Mount Whiskey. While I learned a great deal, and the taste profile was good, it was not right for me. I even had time go on the smuggler's trail there and taste their whiskeys.
During a conversation with locals while sitting in a whiskey bar, I learned that whiskey in Japan does not have very ancient origins. It was introduced by an American who brought the Emperor whiskey as a present. For them, it was like a light bulb went out. The next thing you know, someone was on their way to Scotland to learn the art of whisky production. Japanese whiskey can be distinguished by Mizunara Oak casks, which imparted a distinct flavor to the finished product.
